My hope and prayer are that this letter finds you trusting God and living in great hope. This is the greatest time to be alive in the earth for the Body of Christ! My encouragement to you is that you see your future as God sees it, make decisions about your future today, and never ever allow the negativity or failures of the past to define your present. As you live with this mindset, know that your greatest days of eternal life in the earth are still ahead!
I want to continue our foundation series this month by exploring the necessary value of feeding our spirit with the appropriate spiritual food. Our foundation is built properly when we are continually developing and practicing the fundamentals. Humanity is first a spirit being who has a soul that is housed in a body. Our soul (which is composed of our mind, will and emotions) has no mind of its own. The soul will think and therefore the body will behave in the way it has been trained. When we become born again, because we have been given the power of the Holy Spirit to live on the inside of us, God now holds us responsible for feeding our spirit which has been created to rule our body with the appropriate diet. What we feed our spirit defines our life in the earth (Proverbs 4:23). In the natural, if we feed our soul a heavy diet of sugar it will then begin to crave foods with a high volume of sugar. If we are not careful, we can fall victim to addiction. This is obviously a negative example. The goal of the Godhead is that we would find all our needs met in Him and literally become addicted to encountering His beauty and life with a deep longing for His presence. If we are not pursuing this goal, then the foundation of spiritual life is dangerously flawed. The Godhead has deep encounters and secrets He wants to reveal to us that are only discovered in intentional times of fellowship.
Over 23 years ago I began this journey of learning to feed my spirit with the appropriate nutrients. I still vividly remember the first day of engaging the Godhead in an intentional time of fellowship. I prayed for just about everything I knew to pray about thinking at least 20 or 30 minutes had passed, only to discover about five minutes had passed. I learned that when we first begin to practice the fundamentals such as fellowship and prayer, our spirit develops much like a natural muscle develops when we exercise. If we have never run a mile it will be nearly impossible to run a marathon on our first day of intentional training. We then must become intentional in developing a lifestyle of fellowship and prayer.
As I began to practice an intentional lifestyle of fellowship, I slowly developed a greater capacity to commune with God, sometimes for hours at a time. As I developed (and I'm still developing) this lifestyle of fellowship, I found that my physical body would begin to crave the presence of the Lord. At other times throughout the day, I would sense this invitation from the Holy Spirit to simply sit at His feet and worship the King. I learned like David you can actually develop a craving in your body for the presence of God as you feed your spirit man the presence of God and the word of God. David declared "My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the Lord; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God" (Psalm 84:2). I also learned my practice of fellowship with God created an even greater desire to know God.
We can create a greater desire to know God by our daily practice of communion with God. One of the most beautiful aspects of developing within ourselves a greater capacity to know God is that though we can live content, we are not fully satisfied. For eternity God has invited us to explore the reality of knowing Him that will never be exhausted. The created one (us, humanity) can never exhaust the Creator (God). My prayer for you each and every day is that you would continually develop a deeper desire to know God and as you develop a desire to know Him, you would live life fully satisfied!
I want to once again thank you for your continued partnership with this ministry. Together we are making an impact and advancing the gospel of the Kingdom in the nations of the earth. In addition to sending your testimonies, please also send us your prayer requests so we may stand with you in faith and believe with you for God's word to be manifested in your and your family's life. I also want to once again thank many of you for joining us during our recent Faith Conference with Dr. Jerry Savelle. I believe it was a life changing event that equipped us to enter 2020 properly. If you would like to purchase an MP3 or CD set from the conference, you can do so in our web store.
My prayer for you on a continual basis is that you would grow in the knowledge of God. This is a wonderful season of God releasing the spirit of wisdom and revelation to His body. I believe this is a season of unprecedented revelation for the Body of Christ. I encourage you to continue taking time daily to listen, hear and meditate on the voice of God.
This month I want to share with you a brief story from my life. Over 19 years ago as a graduate student, I began working in an extremely difficult work environment. It became very apparent that my immediate superior would be unrelenting in his difficult posture towards me. One day after returning home from a particularly challenging day, I cried out to God, “God, I do not need to take this anymore.” Immediately the Holy Spirit responded to me so clearly (so clearly that it sounded audible), “You do not need to take this but if you do not stay in this job I cannot do what I want to do in your heart!” This was certainly not the words I wanted to hear from God. I wanted to quit that job and find a much more desirable work environment. I knew what God had spoken yet I went to get counsel from a staff pastor for whom I had been volunteering, hoping he would counsel me to quit. Instead, He encouraged me to stay in the position.
I decided to “receive” additional counsel. On this occasion, I went to the Senior Pastor (hoping once again for him to counsel me to leave the job). He too counseled me to stay in the job. Finally, I called my father and told him how difficult the work environment was and that I should certainly be looking for other employment. As you might guess by now, He too counseled me to finish the commitment I had made to the workplace while finishing my graduate degree.
By God’s grace, I was able to finish the commitment I had made to work while completing my graduate degree. Looking back all these years later, this challenging work environment where God placed me became a beautifully transformational season. God had actually answered my desire to grow in His character and nature by placing me in an extremely difficult environment, one in which I was being severely mistreated. The difficult situation I was placed in was an invitation to grow in the character and nature of God.
I wanted to highlight the key aspects from what I learned and continue to learn from this experience that I believe are foundational in our lives as disciples.
Godly counsel is essential for our lives as disciples (Proverbs 19:20-21).
God often allows what He could prevent in His sovereignty as an invitation to grow in His nature (I am obviously not speaking about physical or emotional abuse) i.e., Joseph, David, Daniel.
Having established these two foundational principles, I want to offer two reflective questions for your consideration this month:
Are you a believer who has and allows others/leaders to speak into your life and give you counsel on a consistent basis? Why or why not?
What difficult and challenging situation has God currently allowed in your life? Are you intentionally allowing it to be an opportunity to grow in the character and nature of God?
I want to once again thank you for your continued partnership with this ministry. Together we are making an impact and advancing the gospel of the Kingdom in the nations of the earth. In addition to sending your testimonies, please also send us your prayer requests so we may stand with you in faith and believe with you for God's word to be manifested in your and your family's life.
My prayer is that this email finds you well and growing in the knowledge of God. As I sat to write to you this morning, I had no intention of releasing the following prophetic word, but I felt prompted from the Holy Spirit to share this word that I believe is specific to my partners in this season.
My beloved, do not grow weary in well doing, for you are entering a season of reaping your due reward. For this is a season of acceleration, expansion, and of producing fruit for the Kingdom of God as never before. This is a season to reap the fruit of your fasting, intercessions, quick obedience and declarations. The enemy has tried to get many to grow weary in this season and caused them to be moved by what they see, but I say to you do not be moved by what you see or what you have even heard in the media but only be moved by what you hear Me speak in this season. Only be moved by what you hear from Me! Stand on My word and stand in what I have spoken! Declare what I have spoken.
Some of you stand at a crossroads in this season in your life, but I say to you that I have not left you alone. Lean into Me for wisdom, for this is a season of unprecedented wisdom in the earth for My people; wisdom to navigate the season you now find yourself in, wisdom that if applied, will navigate the next 15 years of your life, wisdom for breakthrough long ago believed for, wisdom to birth nations, changing ministries, wisdom to begin businesses, wisdom to begin businesses in which there are currently no markets.
This is a season for the Body of Christ to advance the Kingdom of God through the uncommon display of the wisdom of God. The nations of the earth are waiting for the uncommon display of the wisdom of God through the people of God representing His wisdom. So, lean into My wisdom and learn to discern words from My mouth. As you learn what heaven is speaking, declare what heaven is speaking in this season. Declare over yourself, declare in your life, declare over your family, and see quickly the manifestation of what I am speaking in this season. For this is indeed a time of great acceleration for My people, but they must choose to live above the chatter of the kingdoms of the world if they are to embrace the full purposes of heaven in this season.
As you know, for a large part of this year in my letters to you the Holy Spirit has directed me to focus on values that are necessary in building our lives in the manner God designed. Jesus taught us in the Sermon on the Mount that two categories exist in humanity--those building foolishly and those building wisely. Those building wisely heard the voice of God and obeyed (and therefore built wisely); those who built foolishly heard the voice of God and did not obey (Matthew 7:24-29). I encourage you to take time to read and meditate on the prophetic word given in this email. Ask God for wisdom and any thought processes and corresponding actions that need to be applied as a result of reading this word. Perhaps it's simply a matter of receiving the word by faith and God showing in the future how it will apply to you. Regardless of your current situation as it relates to the prophetic word, I encourage you to consider the word given in this email.
I want to once again thank you for your continued partnership with this ministry. Together we are making an impact and advancing the gospel of the Kingdom in the nations of the earth. My hope is that if you have not already done so you will make plans to join us for Faith Conference October 11 and 12, 2019, at Covenant Love Church in Fayetteville, North Carolina with our very special guest Dr. Jerry Savelle.
In addition to sending your testimonies, please also send us your prayer requests so we may stand with you in faith and believe with you for God's word to be manifested in your and your family's life.
My prayer is that you and your family are well and pursuing the heart of God. Last month I asked you specifically to pray and join your faith with mine for my trip to Europe (which included ministry in the nations of Romania, Ukraine, Moldova, and England). I want to report that God poured out His Spirit in a beautiful way. The word of the Lord was released for nations, regions and churches. Many reported experiencing healings and miracles and hundreds encountered the Holy Spirit in life-changing ways. In total, I ministered in 15 different sessions which included three all-day mini encounter schools. Thank you for your continued partnership with this ministry! Your partnership makes it possible for those moments to continually happen around the world.
Since the beginning of the year, the Holy Spirit has been emphasizing to me the necessity and power of building our lives on the appropriate foundation. In my previous letters to you this year (and through our sermon of the month audio teachings), I have shared with you some of the characteristics that enable us to build on the correct foundation. Our ability to walk out God's purpose in this season is divinely connected to building on the correct foundation.
This month I want to share with you the absolute necessity of learning to hear and follow the voice of God. Without the voice of God, a correct foundation in God does not exist. The first voice that Adam ever heard was the voice of God; it was the voice of God that gave him understanding of His purpose and qualified Him for the assignment of ruling the earth. Adam, and therefore humanity, was created to hear and be educated by that voice and to place his confidence and absolute trust in God's voice (Genesis 1:28). The earth forever shifted when Adam and Eve listened and obeyed the wrong voice. The same reality exists today. The most predominant voice we listen to is the one that is defining our lifestyle. God's intention is still that we would live and be governed by His voice. Jesus declared, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4) Notice that Jesus likened the word of God to eating bread. Humanity can only go about three to four days without water and about twenty-one days without eating food. The word of God for the believer is as necessary as food and water for us to function as God intended. While it is a multi-faceted discussion that is much larger than one letter, I want to offer some simple keys to position our hearts to hear the voice of God. The positioning of our hearts determines if we will accurately hear the voice of God.
Make a quality decision that you will obey what God speaks to you (I have found that this decision must be made daily).
Make a quality decision that God's word (scripture) will be the final authority in your life).
Confess daily that as a believer you hear the voice of God and you delight in His voice (John 10:27, Psalm 1:2).
Be intentional to read and mediate on scripture (Joshua 1:8, 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Be part of a local body in which the five-fold teaches and preaches the word of God (Ephesians 4:11-14).
As you begin to hear, obey quickly (John 2:5).
Perhaps you are one who has heard and obeyed the voice of God for many years or you have just begun the journey of learning to hear the voice of God, but I believe that as you apply these foundational truths, you will hear the voice of God and grow in understanding and wisdom. We are indeed in a season of unprecedented wisdom and understanding in the earth. The Godhead is releasing to His people unprecedented wisdom and understanding in this season. May the voice of God and the wisdom of God define every part of your life in this season!
Thank you once again for your partnership with this ministry. Together we are making a difference! In addition to sending your testimonies, please also send us your prayer requests so we may stand with you in faith and believe with you for God's word to be manifested in your and your family's life.
My prayer is that this email finds you living from the peace of God and that your faith in God remains steadfast. As this email is being published, I am traveling to the continent of Europe once again. This trip will include ministry in the nations of Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom, and will be particularly intense with lots of travel and several one-day mini-encounter schools. I am asking you to agree with us that:
My prayer is that this letter finds you well and alive to the purposes of God for your life. In my previous letters to you this year, I have focused on values that help to build our life on the appropriate foundation. As we build on a sure foundation, the foundation we build enables us to sustain the assignment and purpose God has placed upon every believer.
In chapter seven of the Gospel of Matthew (Matthew 7:24-29), Jesus describes two types of people that are building -- the wise man and the foolish man. While both are building, only one is building correctly. Jesus describes the wise man as one who not only hears but also does. It is in hearing and doing the word of God that becomes pivotal to building a heavenly foundation in our life.
One of the things I have learned is that often God will speak to us about things to come far beyond the season and circumstance in which we are currently stationed (John 16:13). For example, I have shared the story from my own life many times that over 23 years ago God revealed to me the call of God to preach the gospel and to go as a sent one to the nations of the earth. The promise was given many years before it began to manifest. God delights in anchoring us in promise while also giving us grace to steward the current day. It is our ability to steward the day in which we live that will determine if we receive the promise that God has released to us for the coming season. This is the recurring theme in the life of many biblical characters who changed the course of history in scripture: Abraham, Joseph, David, Simeon, Jesus. As we seek to build our lives on the foundation God intends, it is a vitally important truth to recognize that we must correctly navigate the current season to enter into the promise of the next season. The following are truths and reflective questions I have as I seek to build my life with the appropriate foundation and navigate the seasons of life correctly.
My hope and prayer are that this letter finds you filled with the knowledge of His will and walking by faith and not by sight. In the previous months, I have written to you concerning the necessity of having our life foundation in Christ built correctly. I emphasized in those letters the necessity of living with an understanding that God is our source and the one who empowers us to love Him with all our heart. It's from receiving God's love on a daily basis that we can be empowered to love Him in the manner He intended. What the Holy Spirit is doing in the earth is unprecedented and having our foundation built correctly is essential if we are to live out His eternal purposes for our lives.
In future months, I hope to continue to explore necessary aspects of our spiritual foundation. However, this month as I leaned into God's heart of what to share with you, I believe He gave me a specific prophetic word to share with you:
"A crucial window is opening for My people in the coming season. It is a window that is opening for My people if they will position themselves correctly. They will receive wisdom as never before, understanding as never before, and the manifestation of promises given long ago. This is a season for receiving understanding to bring the manifestation of promises given long ago. It is a Joshua Chapter One season for many. I have released promises to My people and have given corresponding faith and grace to receive these promises, and it is now critical for My children to seek Me with all their heart soul and mind to hear wisdom, revelation and understanding as it relates to these promises. Do not grow weary in well doing, do not grow faint, and do not give up. Seek Me and the words will come that will give you understanding on how to position yourself. Understand and know that this is a season of unprecedented birthing and advancement in the Kingdom of God. This is a season of the manifestation of promises and desires fulfilled. This is a season of divine advancement, this is a season of overcoming, this is a season of great joy and hope in the house of God."
My prayer is that this word would bring you encouragement and hope in this crucial and wonderful season in the Body of Christ. Thank you once again for standing with this ministry as the backbone for the assignment God has placed on my life. Please be sure to join us later this month at Prophetic Clinic May 17 - 18 at Cornerstone Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. Prophetess Ruth Mangiacapre will be our special guest and Rob Cole will be leading us in worship.

My hope is that this letter finds you and your family walking out God’s purpose for your lives. My prayer for you and your family on a regular basis is for “God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.” (Colossians 1:9) As you stand with the vision God has given this ministry, we stand with you in God’s purpose being
established in your life. I believe we are in one the most pivotal seasons of outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Church history and my desire for you and this ministry is that we would faithfully serve the purposes for our generation well in this glorious season. I want to report that last Wednesday I returned from a 14-day international trip where I ministered in Switzerland and Germany. In both nations, God poured out His Spirit mightily and while it is a little difficult to document all that the Holy Spirit released in this limited space, I want to share with you some of the highlights:
• The Word of the Lord was released
• People testified of receiving physical and inner healing
• The people of God experienced life changing encounters with God
• The saints were activated to walk in a lifestyle of the supernatural
In last month’s letter to you, I shared with you a dream that has played a crucial role in the development of my life in God. One thing that I have learned from this dream, and one that I am continually learning, is that our life in God must be built on the correct foundation. The truths and practices we build our lives upon determine the fruitfulness we will have in God. We must often revisit these truths and allow the Holy Spirit to bring greater understanding of these truths to grow in all that God desires from our individual lives. A key aspect of our foundation in God is living a life of deep fellowship with God. We are personally responsible for stewarding our life of fellowship in God. Last month we highlighted the necessity of knowing and living in God’s love as
a foundation for a lifestyle of fellowship God intended for each us. Many years ago, I made it a life-long goal to become a theologian of the beauty of God. My desire was to know Him and experience His beauty and character as a lifestyle and it made me aware of my deep need for Him and how incredibly weak I am in my own humanity. In my desire to know God, I discovered a wonderful truth. God invites humanity to draw near to Him, but it He who gives me the power to draw near to Him (James 4:8). This is a reality that not only defines our relationship with God, but also every other aspect of the Kingdom of God. Everything that God has ever required of me He has already given me the power to accomplish. Everything, including my relationship with God, first resided with God Himself. God has and will always be the initiator. God is the source that desires and will meet all of my needs.
God is the source of faith to please Him. God is the source of the fruits and gifts of the Spirit that He so jealously desires to operate in my life on a daily basis. As the source of all goodness in my life, God empowers me to make Godly choices that will allow me to bear much fruit. I close by sharing these two verses that are constant sources of mediation in my life. I encourage you to take some time to continually meditate upon these verses as well:
• John 3:27 John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.
• Romans 11:36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
• 1 John 4:19 New King James Version (NKJV) We love Him because He first loved us.
Thank you once again for your faithful partnership with this ministry. Together we are making a difference!
Seeking first His Kingdom,
My prayer is that this letter finds you encouraged and living from a posture of great hope! I want to share with you a dream I had a number of years ago that has played a very pivotal role in my development. In this particular dream, I dreamed I was back
at Campbell University (the school I attended both as an undergraduate and graduate student). I was walking from my dormitory to the area of campus where the majority of my classes took place during my time as a student. I was so excited to be back on campus because I now knew that I had matured as a disciple since my first time on campus and that I could be much more effective in replicating the ministry of Jesus on my college campus. I submitted this dream for interpretation to a lady who is quite skilled in that area. She interpreted the dream by stating, “The dream is a life principle; you will continually revisit the same subjects over and over again in your life and each time receive fresh insight and revelation.” I knew immediately that she had the word of the Lord concerning the interpretation of this dream and the dream has come to past continually in my life. In the coming months in my letters to you I hope to share some of the subjects that have defined my development as a son of God. One of things that I have learned is that there are certain fundamentals we will never outgrow or completely arrive at as believers. Our life in God can be likened to a
house that God intended to be built with Himself as the solid foundation. The foundation of structure is the basis on which that structure rests. If we do not co- labor with God to build the appropriate foundation our life in God, we will never grow into the fullness of what God intended. An absolutely necessary aspect of the foundation that God intends for us to build is a lifestyle of prayer. A lifestyle of prayer is fulfilling Jesus’ greatest commandment to us to “Love God with all our heart, soul, and mind.” (Matthew 22:36-37) In my weakness, I have endeavored to love God with all of heart, soul, and mind and have my life built and defined by a lifestyle of prayer and communion. A foundational aspect of my fellowship with God is learning to receive His love for me. God’s love is His everlasting gift extended to the humanity He created. I have learned that I will never love God correctly without correctly knowing His love for me.
It is only in the context of knowing His love for me and receiving that love that I can give back to Him what He has first given to me. In my personal communion times with God, I always make sure to spend an intentional extended time receiving the
Father’s love. After all these years, I have come to know that one cannot fully comprehend God’s love for us in one moment or one encounter; perhaps that is one of the reasons God gave us tongues. I have also learned that as I receive His love, I
become aware of areas in my mindset that hinder me from receiving and knowing His love. The following are foundational truths about the love of God that have allowed me to grow continually in the love of God that passes knowledge:
o God loves me unconditionally (Jeremiah 31:3)
o God’s love is extended towards me regardless of my behavior or performance (John 3:16)
o My love for God originates with God Himself (Romans 11:36)
o God’s love for me surpasses intellectual understanding (Ephesians 3:19)
I want to encourage you to continually spend intentional time receiving and meditating on the love God has specifically released to you as a gift. Allow His love to draw you into a lifestyle of deep fellowship and prayer. As you intentionally receive His love, may you live out the Apostle Paul’s command to us to “Pray without ceasing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) My prayer for you and I is that this would
be our greatest season of fellowship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Thank you once again for your continued faithful support of this ministry. Together we are proclaiming and advancing the gospel of the Kingdom. Please continue to send us your praise reports and prayer requests. We stand with you in the purposes of God to be established in you and your families’ lives.
My prayer is that this letter finds you and your family well. A little over a week ago, I returned from Paraguay. It was my first time ministering in this nation which is only about 3 to 6 percent evangelical. I had the honor of ministering at a church in Encarnación, Paraguay (southern region). The Church is well known in the evangelical community because it has grown from 17 members to 300 members in the last seven years primarily through: aggressive door-to-door evangelism, small groups, and prayer. While it’s obvious that much work still needs to be done, the leaders I connected with firmly believe they have begun to see a nation discipled. During my visit we experienced a wonderful outpouring of the Holy Spirit and I want to share some brief highlights of the ministry which took place and some of the fruit I was able to experience.
