I pray this letter finds you living from the joy and the rest of the Lord. I want to once again thank you for your continued support of this ministry. My prayer for you on a regular basis is that through your partnership with this ministry, God would multiply the seed you have sown and manifest Himself in every part of your life and that of your family. It is an honor to have you stand with me in the mandate God has placed upon my life!
As I write this letter, my next international trip is just a few days away. I will be in the nations of Romania, Moldova, and the United Kingdom. About two years ago, the Holy Spirit impressed upon me that the door to Europe would begin to open to me and reformation would once again come from the continent that birthed the reformation. Would you join your faith with mine that God would pour out His Spirit during this trip and that the Holy Spirit would continue to supernaturally connect me with leaders that I am to partner with long-term? Last month I wrote to you concerning the privilege we have been given as believers to inquire of God. As believers, for us to receive everything God intends for us in the earth we must live a lifestyle of inquiry. One clear attribute of God found in scripture is that He is holy. The holiness of God demands that He will not release to humanity what they do not desire or what they have not asked for. Therefore, our hunger for God is a key aspect of our life of inquiry. Our born-again spirit longs to live in continual pursuit of the realities of heaven. This month I want to offer some principles that I have learned to help me live a lifestyle of hunger:
My prayer is that this month’s newsletter finds you and your family well! Over sixteen years ago, I began dialogue with God that still continues to this day. The dialogue came from a question that I had for God: How do I live a lifestyle (or how does the Church live) in a continual outpouring of the Holy Spirit? I believe my question was rooted in scripture and experience.
I had been raised in a Spirit-filled home and been around the things of God since I was in my mother’s womb, but my life had forever been changed through the revival movements of our time (namely the Brownsville Revival and Toronto Blessing). I believed scripture was clear, that the normative for the Church was to live in a continuous progressive outpouring of the Holy Spirit. I also feared having a lukewarm Christianity and not receiving everything that God intended for me in my lifetime. The knowledge and wisdom I have been given as a response to that question from God has been life changing and continues to this day. In coming newsletters, I hope to explore some of the understanding God has given me in response to this question. This month I simply want to explore and highlight to you the idea that He has given us the privilege of asking Him questions as sons and daughters of God. To me, this is one of most astonishing and wonderful gifts God has given to us. The Creator of the universe has made Himself vulnerable to the questions and inquiries of His children. God delights in the pursuit of His children and scripture teaches that He delights and rewards those who diligently pursue Him (Hebrews 11:6). The foundation for healthy dialogue with God is that with God’s help we are daily surrendered to Him and make fellowship with God not a part of our lives but the foundation of our lives. As we endeavor to make the fellowship with God our spiritual foundation, God delights in answering the inquiries of His children. Many years ago, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and told me, “Abner, if I have your heart, I will give you the world.” From the posture of friendship. I have become an avid inquirer of God. I ask God many questions about a variety of different issues in life: o How can I be more effective in this area? o Why did you not show me this earlier? o Can I do this now? o Please show me how you see this person? o Why did you move in this manner? I believe one of the essential aspects of our fellowship with God is our ability to inquire of the Lord. If we ask and listen correctly in this season, great wisdom and understanding is our portion. In January of this year, I believe the Holy Spirit spoke to me quite clearly and said, “I am releasing grace to my people in this season to have unprecedented wisdom and understanding for the times and the season in which my people live.” Proverbs 2:6 declares, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” May you receive the wisdom and understanding that is your portion in this season. Thank you for your continued support of this ministry. Together we are building and extending the Kingdom of God around the world. Please continue to send in your prayer requests and testimonies; we want to stand with you in faith and also to celebrate what God is doing in your lives. Sincerely, Abner Suarez What an incredible season we are living in in the Body of Christ! I believe with all my heart that as believers we are living in the greatest time to be alive in human history. I believe many of the great cloud of witnesses longed to live in the day and the hour in which we live.
In previous letters to you this year, I have stated how encouraged I am in what I saw God doing in our nation. I believe we are not just in the initial stages of global outpouring in our own nation, but in the nations of the earth. In my first international trip of 2018 to the nations of Germany and Switzerland, I continued to be encouraged by the hunger of the people of God and the accelerated outpouring of the Holy Spirit. One leader observed that what is taking place in Switzerland is similar to what He experienced in the early days of the Toronto blessing. What I have experienced thus far in 2018 is, I believe, at least a partial confirmation and manifestation of some of the prophetic word God revealed to me as we entered 2018. I want to share and highlight this particular prophetic word to you: This will be a season of divine acceleration. I am releasing a grace to accelerate the assignments which I have called my people to in this season. My children’s hands will be hands of great multiplication in this season. Expand your thinking beyond simply enough, or what you can do with your talents, or what you can do with your own strength. See every work that you are doing in my name and on behalf of me. See it through the lenses of grace for acceleration and multiplication. I am the God of grace. I am the God of increase. I am the God who makes all grace abound. I am accelerating. My desire is to take some of my children from the dirt track to the racetrack, to accelerate the purposes of God on their life and calling. This is indeed a season of divine acceleration. Accelerate means to increase the rate or speed of something. I believe God is accelerating the work of His Spirit and desiring His divine power to flow through His body across the globe in what has not been seen in Church history. His desire is to go beyond even the fruit that the primitive Church experienced. I believe it is increasingly important in this season of acceleration to examine ourselves be sure that we have built and are building our lives on the correct foundation. (2 Corinthians 13:5) Here are some simple areas that I personally examine myself at least weekly if not daily: Am I making the daily decision to seek God’s Kingdom first? (Matthew 6:33) Am I being intentional in my life of fellowship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? (John 17:3) Am I placing God in every situation in which I currently find myself? (John 17:21) Am I holding offense or un-forgiveness towards any group or any individual? (Matthew 6:15) o Am I embracing the mind of God for myself on a continual basis? (1 Corinthians 2:16) I want to encourage you to allow the Holy Spirit to guide you into allowing your foundation to be firm and stable so that you will be able as an individual and as a family to fully embrace the Spirit of acceleration in the earth. Thank you for your continued support and love for the Kingdom of God and the mandate God has placed upon my life! Thank you again for your continued support of this ministry! Abner Suarez I pray this letter finds you alive in the purposes of God! I continue to be so encouraged by what I am witnessing in this season in the Body of Christ. Recently on my visit to Omaha, Nebraska, the power and glory of God were released in such a powerful way! This season in the earth is truly one of greater glory and power! Thank you for your continued support of this ministry and God’s assignment upon my life. Your support allows the “God moments” that took place in Omaha to continue around the world.
Last month I encouraged you that by the grace of God you would make a fresh commitment to say “Yes” to whatever God asks of us. I have learned that living a lifestyle of continually saying “Yes” is directly related to learning to think like God. Our predominant behavior is a result of our belief system. Our belief system has been created by what we have come into agreement with. God gives us the gift of His Word (logos and rhema) to shape our thinking as He intends. Our responsibility as His sons and daughters is to receive His Word continually via the gift of faith. As we receive the Word of God by faith, the Word finds entrance into our hearts in seed form. The seed of that Word has the ability to fulfill and to transform us exactly as God intends. For the Word to bear the fruit that God intends, it must be cultivated. One of the essential keys to cultivating the Word of God is the discipline of meditation. Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance defines meditation as: To murmur (in pleasure or anger); to ponder, imagine, meditate, mourn, mutter, roar, speak, study, talk, utter. Our born-again re- created spirit was intended to hear, listen and respond to the Word of God. As we feed our spirit with the Word of God, our internal reality (Luke 17:21) is shaped in conformity to God’s operating system for us, which is His mind (I Corinthians 2:16). A fruit of meditation is that it also exposes dysfunctional areas of our thinking (Hebrews 4:12) and allows us to embrace correct thinking. The biblical discipline of meditation of the Word of God is one of the most wonderful and beautiful practices that God has gifted to humanity. My encouragement to you is to refuse to allow your heart to be defined by what you see, feel and think, but rather allow your belief system to define your outside environment. Meditate upon scripture, declare the scripture, and see the manifestation of scripture in every area of your life. The Body of Christ is about to inherit territory that God has desired for us since before the foundation of the world. One of the essential keys to manifestation is that the people of God would take great delight in meditating on the Word of God. God is releasing grace to meditate and delight in His Word as never before (Joshua 1:8-9). In closing, please make sure to join us for our School of the Supernatural June 1-2, 2018, in Raleigh, North Carolina, at Cornerstone Church. Our special guest will be Pastor Al Brice and worship will be with Robert Cole and his team. I also want to hear your testimonies of what God is doing in your life, along with praise reports and any prayer requests you may have. Please send them to my assistant, Donna Key, at donna@abnersuarez.com. We want to come into complete agreement for what you are believing God for. Thank you once again for your continued love and support of this ministry! Abner Suarez My prayer is that letter finds you well and fully alive in the purposes of God. This year is truly one of promise, acceleration, and harvest. I am encouraged by what I sense taking place both in my personal life and the life of the universal church. Over the last two months, we have been focusing on our assignment in the United States. The first Friday of 2018, we hosted a night of worship in partnership with Gospel Tabernacle Church. It was truly a night in which we encountered the beauty of God.
The first two months of this year, I have ministered in Florence, South Carolina, High Point, Raleigh and Whiteville, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Lindale, Texas, Augusta, Georgia, and Wildwood and Pennsauken, New Jersey. Each place where I had the privilege of ministering God moved in a unique and powerful manner. I am continually amazed and grateful to see what God is manifesting in the world today. This month I will have my first international trip of 2018. I will be ministering in Germany and Switzerland, with one conference in each nation. This year I will also be ministering in Romania, Moldova, Israel, Iceland and Tanzania. Would you prayerfully consider an additional seed offering for our work in the nations? At the close last year, I was in the nation of India ministering to pastors and leaders. The first morning I was to minister, I began to reflect that one person’s simple Yes to God can change a family and generations forever. In 1969, my father Angel Suarez escaped from Cuba. While beginning his life in the United States, a man named Angel Velez gave him the Gospel of John and encouraged him to visit his church. My dad, being raised Catholic, initially resisted but eventually visited Angel’s church on a Sunday morning. The first Sunday my father attended Angel’s church, He was gloriously born-again. Angel also made sure that after my father was born-again, he would be properly discipled. Over forty-nine years ago Angel Velez said Yes to ministering to a young Cuban refugee, and because of his Yes you and I are co-laborers in the Kingdom. My simple encouragement to you is to always say Yes! In our fellowship with God, we must daily make a conscious decision to have our reply to God always be a Yes! The desire of God is to see nations transformed through the teaching and living of His people. The transformation of culture cannot go beyond the simple Yes of the people of God. I believe no matter what our sphere of influence, God has given us the ability to change humanity’s family lineage through the hope that God has placed in us. Our very existence in the Kingdom was dependent on another’s Yes, and we now have the same responsibility to humanity. Whether it is a prophetic word, an invitation to your home, or an invitation for coffee, please keep saying Yes to the will of God, no matter how insignificant it may seem. I want to thank you once again for your continued Yes to partnership with the vision God has given this ministry. We live in the greatest time in Church history; may the Church be reformed and nations transformed in our day. Sincerely, Abner Suarez I pray this letter finds you fully alive in the purposes of God! Last month my encouragement to you was to allow the beginning of a new year to not only be a time of evaluation, but also a time to ask God for continued grace to grow in deeper fellowship and the knowledge of Him. One of the most exciting fruits of growing in the knowledge of God is that God’s promise to all believers is that He would give us insight and promise into the future (John 16:13).
Every year for perhaps the last six or seven years, God has given me prophetic insight into the coming year. While we often call it a word for the year, I believe God operates more in seasons. I wanted to share with you some of that word as it relates to promises and insights for the future. If you would like to read the whole word for 2018, it is available on our website at http://www.abnersuarez.com/2018-word.html. This is a season of divine promises. “I will release promises to my people in this season that are to anchor them in strategy, vision and purpose for the next 20 to 25 years.” I see a cloud of promises God is releasing in the earth to His people. These promises are God’s desire and hope not only for His people, but for the future of the planet that He has given humanity as an inheritance. It is important to recognize this season of promises because the promises God is releasing in this season are to shape and guide His people, but also to shape the history of the earth. My people must have promises that govern and guide them into the future. I was very encouraged as I heard these words that I believe were direct from heaven. I want to offer some principles that I believe will help us to properly receive this word and manifest the promises that God has given, both individually and corporately. o One of the characteristics of scripture is that it is a book of promises to those in Christ. o We must position ourselves in a place to hear (a place of fellowship and intimacy). o We must receive the promise no matter how outrageous (Mary the mother of Jesus is our example). o Promise and prophetic insight are necessary gifts God has given us to navigate life on earth. o Always view every situation through the lenses of God’s promise. o Either your negative situation will define or the promise of God will. My prayer for you is that 2018 will be a year promise, insight, and understanding! Thank you for your continued support of this ministry! Your partnership continues to be the foundation for enabling us to fulfill our God-given assignment to equip the saints of God to display the brilliance of God. Abner Suarez |
